The Transmatter Field is an item that can be spliced only at Night Of The Comet. It resembles an energy field pulsating with cosmic energy. You can no longer obtain Transmatter Field seed From Rare seed packs anymore, Similarly with the asteroid seeds.

To grow, plant a Transmatter Field Seed. (Or splice a Starseed with a Display Box seed).
Additional Info
The Transmatter Field acts similar to a Display Box. Transmatter fields can be used to display items or as a donation box since only players with access to the lock can pick up the items dropped onto it.
Rarely, you can get a Transmatter Field Seed from the Rare Seed Pack, even though the comet hasn't arrived yet, the other being Asteroid Seed.
