The Black Crystal Dragon is an unsplicable hand item which was added as part of the Crystals update on January 20, 2015.

Function

You command a mighty (dark) dragon!

Your dragon has abandoned you.

When equipped, the Black Crystal Dragon grants the Dragonborn mod, which allows the player to break blocks faster and knock others back further by punching.

It also shoots small black shards of crystal which replace the player's punch.

Trivia

Successfully hatching a Black Crystal Dragon will complete an Epic Quest.
