Comet Dust spawns in worlds with many people during the Night Of The Comet and by collecting 200 Comet Dust, it will merge into a Starseed.
Comet Dust spawns in the world if the world has 2 or more players after some amount of time. It spawns without an event and spawns randomly around the world like Fireworks and Magic Eggs.
If you collect a Comet Dust, you will get the achievement "Sparkly Dust".
