The Calliope is an unsplicable non-solid toggleable animated foreground block which was added as part of The Carnival update on October 13, 2014.

The Calliope's music.

Being a toggleable animated foreground block, a Calliope can be toggled on or off via punching. When toggled on, a Calliope will change its appearance, showing a 2-frame animation, and play a piece of music.
