The Vampire Cape is a special Halloween item.
The cape grants the Double Jump ability and causes a flurry of bats to fly out of the player upon death. Also, upon closer inspection the normal death animation is now replaced by a cloud of bats. No flying soul will be seen. A single bat is also released every time the player jumps.
This item is also necessary to complete the achievement, "Costume Contest".
