Death Spikes are blocks which instantly kill players on contact. There are 2 versions of the Death Spike:
- As a column of spikes attached to a block adjacent to it,
- As a ball of spikes when no other blocks are adjacent to it
The Hanging Guytrap, Venus Guytrap, Great White Shark, Lazy Cobra, Deadly Spider, Twisted Spikes, Crystal Spikes, and Evil Eye also kill players on contact, much like the Death Spikes.These are much of the instant kill blocks unlike lava.

To grow, plant a Death Spikes Seed. (Or splice a Danger Sign seed with a Rock Background seed).
