Cave Background is an unsplicable non-solid background block which has been added since Growtopia's launch. Layers of Cave Background are naturally generated in most worlds, excluding certain blasted ones.

Dark Cave Background and Monochromatic Cave Background looks very similar to Cave Background, and will only appear in cave-blasted and monochromatic-blasted worlds.
A Digger's Spade will allow the player to break both Dirt and Cave Background in one hit.
