Obelisk is an item you get from the Desert Blast and spawn in the Desert Biome.

The Obelisk Seed was also found in a Rare Seed Pack.

If a Sungate is present in the world, you can activate 7 obelisks (by punching them) and the gate would open and would be treated as a portal.
