The Ban Wand is an unobtainable consumable which was added as part of Cinco De Mayo Week 2013 on May 3, 2013.

Function

Reality flickers as you begin to wake up.

You are no longer banned. Now be good!

When consumed on a player, the Ban Wand, as its name suggests, grants the Ban mod, banning a player from Growtopia for ten minutes. It is made exclusive to the developers, and will presumably not be made available to the public in any form as its power could easily be abused.

The appearance of the wand is exactly the same as that of the https://growtopiawiki.nbg1.your-objectstorage.com/uploads/8/8f/ItemSprites.png Fire Wand, although they have different seed designs.

The Ban Wand will also ban the player's IP address, making it impossible for them to login using another account.

Trivia

• When a Ban Wand has been used, a message will be sent out in the chat if the player is currently in the same world as the banned player: "<Mod Name> has used ban on <player>!"
• Contrary to popular belief, moderators and developers do not use ban wands under normal circumstances, and instead use specialized commands.
• A warning message is given to a player when they get banned: "Warning From System: You've been BANNED from Growtopia for <Set amount of Time>."
