Sand was released on June 21st, with the SummerFest event. It generates in beach worlds created by the Beach Blast device. The appearance of Sand is notably similar to that of Dirt tiles, only tinted golden and with a subtle grainy texture.

The item data for Sand existed in the game files for a long time before the SummerFest event, dating all the way back to late February.
