When equipped, the Captain Laserhawk's Eye grants the Night Vision: Captain Laserhawk's Eye! mod, which allows the player to eliminate the darkness effect created by dark background blocks, just like the Night Vision Goggles. Unlike the latter, Captain Laserhawk's Eye does not require a D Battery in order to function in worlds the player doesn't own.
