When placed, the Sourloaf Pineapple Block serves a fully aesthetic purpose.

The Sourloaf Pineapple Block is one of the three pineapple blocks added in Super Pineapple Party 2019, alongside the Dangerous Pineapple Block and Rotten Pineapple Block.
- Unlike the other two, the Dangerous Pineapple Block acts as a pain block, hurting players upon contact.
