The Spirit Guide is an unsplicable chest item which was added as part of the B.O.O. Update on May 1, 2018.

Function

When equipped, the Spirit Guide makes the player float in the air and releases constant shadows, similar to jumping with the Cape of Shadows equipped. It also reduces the chance of Spirit Board or Dark Spirit Board from breaking when summoning ghosts.

A purple spirit is summoned on the left shoulder of a player wearing the Spirit Guide. The spirit can only be seen by players that have the Spectral Goggles or Synthetic Oculum equipped.
