The Mega-Pellet Bait is a consumable which was released during the Gone Fishin'! update. If made by consuming frozen chunks, the Buckskin Hood, Buckskin Jacket, Buckskin Pants and Winter Scarf must be worn before it will turn into a Mega-Pellet Bait.
The bait can only be used in a drilled Ice Crust Block with a Water Bucket on top. Special items which can be caught include:
