The Demented Cowl is an unsplicable hair item which was added as part of Halloween Week 2017.

When equipped, the Demented Cowl allows the player to be immune from Looming Shadows only.

When the player stands on one, it will not kill the player; instead, it will add an effect to the dark inner part of the hood, ranging from a purple skull to a red eye.
