The Needlessly Cryptic Scroll is an unsplicable component. One has a chance to be obtained from combining an Afro, a Dungeon Door Seed, and a Shifting Scroll in any Chemical Combiner on top of a Leaf Block during mid-night (00:00).

This item is a key component in The Wizard's Staff Mystery.

This item shares the same recipe as the Cryptic Scroll, Really Cryptic Scroll and Exceedingly Cryptic Scroll. Each attempt to make one would give the player a random scroll out of the four.
Creating this item will freeze one for a moment, preventing them from moving and thus making more scrolls for the rest of the minute.
