The Steam Collector is a solid steam foreground block which was added as part of the Gone Crabby! update on March 3, 2016.

Function

As its name suggests, a Steam Collector collects passing steam and stores it for up to 20 seconds. The block will keep holding the steam until it has achieved the necessary amount of steam, after which it will finally send steam out of each possible output side (up to three sides of the block, which excludes the last side that steam entered from).
