The Legendary Wizard is an untradable splicable non-solid NPC foreground block which was added as part of the Legendary update on August 22, 2014.

Function

Players who have reached Level 40 are able to go on a Legendary Quest through the wizard. Upon completing a Legendary Quest, the Legendary Wizard will disappear and the player will be given their legendary item.

Trivia

The Legendary Wizard used to be tradable, which meant players could trade it among themselves.
Harvesting a Legendary Wizard tree would cause the wizard to automatically spawn on the same tile where the tree was.
As part of the Quality of Life Changes update on May 20, 2022, Legendary Wizards are now only accessible by the world owner.
It's the only tree that got programmed to never implement more than 2 fruits in it, avoiding players to do the 2:30 Time Growtopia glitch, but since nobody tried, it can be safely assumed that doing so, could corrupt the worlds Data Bedrock.
