Mystery Pinata is a placeable block which was introduced during [[Cinco De Mayo Week]] 2014. The place block is public so it can be smashed by anyone regardless of locks. It is similar to [[Ultra Pinata]] in function but placed on top of a stack of items will store them inside as prizes for breaking it. There are some special items that will transform when placed inside:

As an [[Event Mystery Blocks (block category)|event mystery block]], the Mystery Pinata can be placed on top of any dropped items. When smashed, it will behave similarly to the [[Pinata]] and sprays its contents over a small area. It swells up in size as the player punches it, rather than developing cracks like most items do while breaking. Certain items become different items when dropped inside.
