May 17th: New reCAPTCHA System!

We have updated our existing reCAPTCHA System from a mathematical equation to a fun interesting puzzle format!

The reCAPTCHA System update is a minor update that was introduced on May 17, 2022. It features a new CAPTCHA system that verifies players by allowing them to slide to position the Puzzle Piece in the missing space. Currently, this feature is only available on Windows; other platforms still use the math CAPTCHA.

Trivia

reCAPTCHA is a product by Google, but Growtopia does not use it and has been incorrectly labelled.
On an unknown date, the CAPTCHA image was deep-fried.
Failing the CAPTCHA multiple times will grant the player the Silenced mod for 10 minutes.
