The Balloon Warz is an annual event that happens in early December/early January. The first Balloon Warz event began on 2 August 2017.

As of Brr-lloon Warz 2022, the Balloon Warz is held for 3 days. During this event, three randomly-assigned teams: Punch, Build, and Grow compete against each other in a Championship League of 9 rounds, each lasting for 6 hours over the entire event. Scoring the most hits in a round will reward that team with 4 Balloon Warz League Points. However, reaching the second place grants only 2 Balloon Warz League Points, while reaching the third one grants 1 Balloon Warz League Point. The team with the most points at the end will win the League.

Each team enters a Power Play phase during a predetermined round everyday. During this round, all hits are granted extra points. A same amount of Power Plays are given for each team and get spread across different rounds every time.

A 2-hour preparation break takes place between each round. During this period, players are able to stock up on Balloon-Frosting War Gloves which increases points per splash and gather war balloons.

- Multiply by two if the player's team is the current power play.
- Multiply by five if the player has a Balloon-Frosting War Glove equipped and their team is not the current power play.
- Multiply by seven if the player's team is the current power play and the player is wearing a Balloon-Frosting War Glove
- Multiply by nine if the player's team is the current power play while having a Balloon-Frosting War Glove equipped and consumed a Ultra Performance Enhancing Hot Cocoa.

During the fight phase, a war balloon must be thrown towards a player from a different team or a Balloon Target scattered across the world every 3 minutes for one to receive point(s) in the world BALLOONWARZ. Getting hit by a war balloon will drench oneself, thus forcing one to reach a Towel Rack Checkpoint before being able to throw war balloons again. It will also stain the player with the other team's color, preventing them from being hit by balloons for a short period.

Players who splash 20 players without getting splashed will award the player a bounty, which is the number of players splashed shown above the player's team icon. If they get splashed, the number of bounty points the player previously had will be transferred to the opponent's team. Players can also purchase the Ultra Balloon Warz Fight Pack exclusively during this phase which includes a Ultra Performance Enhancing Hot Cocoa.

After the Championship League of 9 rounds, players of each team will receive a trophy depending on their ranking given that they have contributed a certain number of points during the war phase:

The Balloon-O-Matic is an item added along with the update. This item creates war balloons by converting items with rarity below 200. Feeding 8000 rarity worth of items to the machine will cause it to explode and yield the player a certain prize. NOTE: THIS INFORMATION WAS ADDED DURING THE PREP PHRASE, AND INFORMATION ABOUT NEW ITEMS ARE NOT CLEARLY KNOWN DUE TO THE FACT THAT THE EVENT WAS RECENTLY ADDED.
