The Pet Trainer Whistle is a consumable which was added as part of the Pet Battles update.
Function
When consumed, a Pet Trainer Whistle will spawn a Pet Trainer. A player may battle a Pet Trainer using battle pets.
Once a trainer has been defeated, he will immediately disappear. In turn, he will rewards the player with a single Pet Trainer Medal, which can then be traded with another Pet Trainer for certain items. A Pet Trainer will disappear if not defeated within 24 hours.
