The silkworm is the first pet in Growtopia that you have to feed, water, and cure. The Silkworm comes in differnet types of colors.

*[[Gruel]] and [[Water]] are the only items which can be used to feed a Silkworm that doesn't change its color.
*Giving a Silkworm [[Green Beer]] or [[Rotten Egg]] can also make it sick.
*At approximately 15 days of age, a Silkworm will reach an elderly stage and begin having wrinkles.
*One can only feed a Silkworm in an area they have access to.
*Using a [[Spike Juice]] or an [[Experience Potion]] on a Silkworm causes it to be supercharged, which ensures that the next harvest yields 10 [[Silk Thread]]s.

It costs 7,000 gems in the Growtopia store. You can feed it burritos, water buckets, eggs, and just about anything else that is consumable. the recommendation is to farm blueberry or apple and then feed it to the silkworm. Not much is known about it yet since it was aded very recently and many people have only had it for about 1 day.
