The Penguin Leash is a splicable pet hand item which was added as part of the Block Party update on June 12, 2015.

Function

Your little friend blasts ice beams.

Your friend has flown the coop.

When equipped, a penguin pet appears and follows the player around. Moreover, the item also gives the player the Icy Pet mod. The Penguin Leash replaces the player's punch effect with beams of ice fired by the penguin.

Normally it would take at least 1750 blocks to get it but if you have the lucky mod it will take 1000 to 1200. It shoots beams of ice, like the [[Ice Calf Leash]]. When equipped, it grants the Icy Pet mod. The chances of getting this leash is about as rare as getting the [[Butterfly leash]].
