The Alien Block is a splicable solid foreground block which was added as part of the original Night Of The Comet update on November 27, 2014.

As a light source, an Alien Block emits light in dark areas. The color of the Alien Block flickers from light to dark.

As of Player Appreciation Week 2020, several blocks whose trees are made by splicing Starseed have been made farmable.
- This change includes the Alien Block, Ion Conduit, and Xenoid Block.
