Function

When a player punches the Phone Booth while standing on the same tile as the block, it allows them to remove all their clothes and store them inside the booth. Punching the booth again allows the player to retrieve the clothes inside and immediately equip them.

The Phone Booth's mechanism is based on how the fictional character Superman would sometimes change into his superhero costume inside a phone booth.
As part of the Quality of Life Changes update on May 20, 2022, Phone Booths are now only accessible by the world owner.
