The Zeus' Lightning Bolt is an unsplicable hand item which was added as part of Harvest Festival 2014 on September 5, 2014.

Function

You electrocute things.

The tingling sensation is gone.

When equipped, it grants the Fistful of Thunder mod, which replaces the player's fist with thunder.

Trivia

Despite the item being untradeable, players can still trade it by making it, not collecting the item, and selling the World Key.
The phrase "1.21 gigawatts" on the item's description is a reference to the time machine in Back to the Future, which required 1.21 gigawatts to run.
On 14th December, 2020, a glitch occured whereby players were able to obtain Zeus' Lightning Bolt seeds. Upon realisation, the developer team quickly took action and locked the Zeus' Lightning Bolt seeds with many other items that were affected by the same glitch in order to prevent the issue from growing bigger. After the glitch was patched, all the Zeus' Lightning Bolt seeds were removed from the game. However, there are some Painting Easels exist with Zeus' Lightning Bolt seed painted on them as a remark of their existence.
