The Pet Leprechaun is an unsplicable hand item which was added as part of St. Patrick's Week 2014 on March 14, 2014.

Function

Your friend shoots rainbows!

You are lonely.

When equipped, this item summons a leprechaun to follow the player and grants them the Rainbows! mod, which substitutes the player's punches with rainbows fired from the leprechaun. The rainbows deal more damage to blocks than the unequipped fist. The player's character will hold a four-leaf clover when equipping the Pet Leprechaun.

Trivia

Upon usage of ten Blarney Pebbles, a message will appear saying "ZING! A leprechaun appears!", and the Pet Leprechaun will be instantly equipped.
The inventory image used to be a four-leaf clover, but it was patched on April 10, 2013 to show the Leprechaun instead.
