When activated, it glows red. It has a fist engraved to indicate it jams punching. Note: On a "Punch-Jammed" world, people are still allowed to punch as much as they can, except for the fact that the punches do NOT push the players. This means Zombies can still infect people with the G-Virus. The Jammer needed to stop infections with the G-Virus is the [[Zombie Jammer]]. When entering a world a Punch Jammer activated, the world will have the "NOPUNCH" tag line. This is a perma-item so it will return to your inventory when smashed.
