Function

I will have my vengeance!

When equipped, the Wings of Ahool grants the Double Jump + Night Vision : Wings of Ahool mod, which allows the player to jump a second time in mid-air and eliminate the darkness effect created by dark background blocks. Unlike the Night Vision Goggles, Wings of Ahool does not require a D Battery in order to function in worlds the player doesn't own. Additionally, the player can enable and disable the wings and pet through their wrench menu.

The Ahool set is a reference to an Indonesian bat-like mythological creature of the same name. The beast is said to grow up to 10 feet in height when standing on its hind legs and has a wingspan of 28 feet. Additionally, the creature's name comes from the loud shriek it makes when it descends upon its prey.
