When equipped, the Grow Air Balloon grants the Double Jump & Slowfall : Grow Air Balloon mod, which allows the player to jump a second time in mid-air and glide slowly to the ground when holding the jump button. Players can change the item's appearance by equipping and unequipping it, similar to the Diamond Horns.

Trivia

Grow Air Balloon's name is a portmanteau of "grow" and "hot-air balloon", the latter referring to the type of aircraft it is based on.
