When equipped, the Radiant Doom Staff grants the Punch Damage: Purple Lightning mod, which allows the player to break blocks faster. It will also summon a floating staff next to the player and replace the player's fist with purple lightning when punching.

- The Radiant Doom Staff's appearance is a reference to Eson the Searcher's weapon from the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Movie called "Guardians of the Galaxy".
- As of Player Appreciation Week 2021 Day 1, the Radiant Doom Staff was added a lightning sound effect when punching.
