The Balrog's Tail is a hand item introduced during the Spelunkorama Strikes Back! update. It is a rare drop from exploding a Pure Magic Ore using Mining Explosives.

When equipped, the Balrog's Tail grants the Punch Power: Balrog's Tail mod, which allows the player to knock back other players further. It will also replace the player's punching animation into golden slashes.
