Given exclusively to moderators and cannot be obtained by regular players by normal means, except when a moderator gives away or sells theirs.

The Duct Tape is an unsplicable consumable which is exclusive to Moderators.

Function

Duct tape has covered your mouth!

Players are duct-taped by moderators if they say offensive things. When used on a player, it gives the player the Duct Tape mod, which muffles up their speech for 10 minutes. Whenever a muted player tries to chat, their words are replaced by sequences consisting of m's and f's, similar to someone in real life trying to talk with their mouth covered. Additionally, it also restricts the player from communicating with others. Several restricted activities include: Broadcasts, editing Doors or Signs, private messaging, and writing on Bulletin Boards, Mailboxes and Holiday Gift Boxes

Trivia

Equipping either Iron Mask, Parka Hood - Orange, Stitchlips or catching a Grumbleteeth malady also muffles the wearer's voice, similar to the Duct Tape.
If a player tries to get themselves Duct Taped, a ban may be given out instead.
An ominous sound can be heard in a world when a player is being duct-taped there.
