The '''Item Of The Season''' ('''IOTS''') was implemented into the game as part of the [[Grow Pass]] update on the 5th of October 2021.

Originally, the Item Of The Season was called the [[Item Of The Month]] where players can purchase a monthly-exclusive item for [[Gems]]. 

The term was later changed to [[Item Of The Season]] featuring two versions of the item, the normal and royal versions. The normal variant of the [[Item Of The Season]] can be obtained by [[Royal Grow Pass]] users while accumulating 150 Grow Pass Points by completing quests and tasks or by accumulating 2,100 Grow Pass Points which will be available in the [[Growtopia Store]] for [[Gems]] on the following season. The royal variant of the [[Item Of The Season]] can exclusively be obtained by [[Royal Grow Pass]] users while accumulating 2,100 Grow Pass Points.
